Diana Gadus, M.Ed., RMHCI

Diana is a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who works with children ages 10 and older, adolescents, young adults, and families. She holds a Master of Education, and her extensive background in school counseling and mental health support gives her a strong understanding of the emotional, social, behavioral, academic, and family challenges that can affect children and adolescents.

Diana's counseling style is warm, relational, compassionate, and trauma-informed. She believes meaningful change begins with a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, respected, and accepted. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, peer and relationship challenges, stress, behavioral concerns, and other difficult life circumstances.

Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based. Diana draws on Motivational Interviewing, CBT- and DBT-informed strategies, mindfulness, grounding, and somatic regulation techniques, and she works collaboratively with each client to identify strengths, develop practical coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and build the confidence and resilience that lead to meaningful, sustainable change.

Diana is especially passionate about helping young people and families feel more connected, capable, and hopeful as they navigate challenges and move toward greater emotional well-being. Whether a child is struggling at school or with friends, a family is working through a loss or a transition, or a young adult is finding their footing, she offers a safe, collaborative space to begin.
