Life doesn't always go according to plan. Whether you're navigating a difficult transition, struggling with overwhelming emotions, or simply feeling stuck — individual therapy gives you a dedicated space to pause, reflect, and grow.
What We Help With
Our clinicians work with adults facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic stress, self-esteem challenges, anger management, life transitions, and burnout. We meet you where you are and tailor our approach to your specific goals.
What to Expect
Sessions are typically 50 minutes, held weekly or biweekly depending on your needs. Your therapist will work collaboratively with you to identify patterns, build coping strategies, and help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself. This is your time — we follow your lead.
Every relationship goes through seasons. When communication breaks down, trust feels fragile, or you're finding it hard to connect, couples counseling can help you find your way back to each other.
What We Help With
Our therapists help couples navigate communication challenges, conflict resolution, infidelity and trust repair, intimacy and emotional disconnection, premarital preparation, blended family dynamics, and major life changes. Whether your relationship is in crisis or you simply want to strengthen what you already have, we're here.
What to Expect
Couples sessions are typically 50–60 minutes. Both partners attend together, and your therapist serves as a neutral facilitator — not a referee. The goal isn't to determine who's right. It's to help both of you feel heard, understood, and equipped to grow together.
Trauma changes how you experience the world — but it doesn't have to define your future. With the right support, healing is absolutely possible.
What We Help With
Our clinicians are trained in specialized trauma therapies, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), trauma-focused CBT, and somatic approaches. We work with clients processing single-event trauma, complex or developmental trauma, abuse and neglect, first responder and military-related trauma, and PTSD symptoms such as flashbacks, hypervigilance, and avoidance.
What to Expect
Trauma therapy moves at your pace. Your therapist will work with you to establish safety and trust before processing difficult experiences. You will never be pressured to share more than you're ready for. Our goal is to help you reclaim your sense of safety and control.
Families are complicated — and that's okay. When relationships within the family feel strained, having a neutral space to talk things through can make all the difference.
What We Help With
Family counseling addresses conflict between parents and children, blended family dynamics, communication breakdowns, boundary setting, co-parenting challenges, grief and loss as a family unit, and navigating a family member's mental health challenges.
What to Expect
Family sessions may include different combinations of family members depending on the situation. Your therapist helps everyone feel heard while guiding the family toward healthier patterns of communication and connection. The goal is a stronger, more resilient family — not perfection.
For those who find strength, meaning, or comfort in their faith, we offer the option to incorporate spiritual perspectives into the therapeutic process.
What This Means
Faith-based counseling at Living Well means that if you want your faith to be part of your healing journey, your therapist can honor that. This might include exploring spiritual questions alongside emotional ones, using prayer or scripture as part of sessions (by request), or integrating your values and beliefs into your goals and coping strategies.
Important
Faith-based counseling is entirely optional. It is never assumed, never required, and never imposed. If you prefer a fully secular approach, that is respected without question. We serve people of all backgrounds and beliefs — and we meet you wherever you are.
Being a teenager is harder than it's ever been. School pressure, social media, identity questions, family dynamics — it's a lot. Therapy gives young people a confidential, nonjudgmental space to process it all.
What We Help With
Our clinicians work with teens and adolescents navigating anxiety and depression, peer conflict and bullying, academic stress, identity and self-esteem, family changes (divorce, relocation, loss), self-harm and emotional regulation, and social withdrawal.
What to Expect
Teen therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes. We prioritize building trust and rapport — because therapy only works when the young person feels safe. Parents and guardians are kept appropriately informed while respecting the teen's confidentiality. We work collaboratively with families to support the whole picture.
Professional therapy — from wherever you are. Our secure telehealth platform brings the same quality care you'd receive in our office directly to your screen.
How It Works
Telehealth sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll log in from your computer, tablet, or smartphone at your scheduled time. Your therapist will guide the session exactly as they would in person. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection.
Who It's For
Telehealth is ideal for clients with busy schedules, those who live outside the Cape Coral or Fort Myers area, anyone who prefers the comfort and convenience of home, and individuals with mobility or transportation barriers. Telehealth is available to clients throughout the state of Florida.
Same Quality, More Flexibility
Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns. You receive the same licensed, experienced clinician — the only thing that changes is where you sit.
