Living Well Counseling & Consulting is a TRICARE-authorized provider proudly serving the military community in Southwest Florida. We accept TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Select, and TRICARE Reserve Select, providing in-network mental health services to active-duty service members, veterans, military retirees, and their families. We also accept VA Community Care referrals and CHAMPVA.

How to Use Your TRICARE Benefits at Living Well
Accessing therapy through TRICARE at Living Well is straightforward:
- Check your referral requirements. TRICARE Select members can self-refer to our office. TRICARE Prime members may need a referral from their primary care manager (PCM). If you have VA Community Care authorization, have your referral number ready.
- Contact our office. Call (239) 940-7025 or fill out our contact form to schedule an appointment.
- We verify your TRICARE benefits. Our team confirms your eligibility, plan type, and any cost-sharing that applies to your visits.
- Attend your session. Bring your military ID or TRICARE card. We handle all billing with TRICARE directly.
TRICARE Cost-Sharing for Therapy
Active-duty service members typically pay nothing out of pocket for mental health visits under TRICARE Prime. TRICARE Select members and retirees may have a small copay or cost-share depending on their plan and sponsor status. Family members of active-duty personnel enrolled in TRICARE Prime generally have no copay for network mental health care. Our office verifies your specific cost-sharing before your first session so you know what to expect.
Telehealth for Military Families
We offer telehealth therapy throughout Florida, which can be especially valuable for military families. If a spouse is managing a deployment from home, or if travel to one of our offices is difficult, telehealth allows you to connect with your therapist from a private, comfortable location. TRICARE covers telehealth sessions at the same rate as in-person visits.
