- We verify your Optum benefits. Our team contacts Optum to confirm your behavioral health coverage, including your copay, deductible, coinsurance, and any prior authorization requirements.
- We share your cost details. Before your first session, we let you know exactly what your financial responsibility will be.
- Attend your appointment. Bring your UHC insurance card and a photo ID. We bill Optum directly so you only pay your portion at the time of service.
Understanding UHC Plan Types
United Healthcare offers several plan types, and your out-of-pocket cost for therapy depends on which one you have.
