About Angie
I truly believe that the relationship you have with your therapist is the foundation for meaningful change. When you come into a session with me, my priority is helping you feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely seen. I know it can be hard to open up to someone new, and I don't take that lightly. Therapy with me is a collaborative process — you are the expert on your life, and I'm here to support and guide you along the way.
I work with individuals who find themselves repeating patterns in relationships, feeling impacted by family dynamics, or carrying past experiences that haven't fully been processed. While I work with a range of clients, I especially enjoy working with older adolescents and young adults who are figuring out who they are, navigating relationships, and adjusting to new stages of life. That said, if you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, you don't have to go through it alone.
A big part of my work — and where my passion really lies — is trauma. I specialize in trauma reprocessing and use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process past experiences that may still be impacting them today. My goal is to help you not just cope, but actually heal and move forward in a way that feels freeing and empowering.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and insight-oriented. I'm not here to "fix" you — I'm here to help you better understand yourself and reconnect with the strengths, insight, and resilience you already have. Together, we'll explore the patterns in your life, where they come from, and how they may be showing up in your relationships and day-to-day experiences.
I also really enjoy working with relationship dynamics. So much of how we show up in the present is shaped by past experiences, and therapy can be a space to explore those patterns, build insight, and create healthier ways of connecting, communicating, and setting boundaries.
Growth isn't always easy, but you don't have to push through it alone. I show up as warm, real, and honest in sessions, and I genuinely believe in your ability to grow and create the life you want. If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are and walk alongside you without judgment, I'd love to connect.
