For over four decades, I have dedicated my career to education, counseling, and helping people discover their strength in the midst of life's most difficult seasons. That journey led me to found Living Well Counseling & Consulting, a place I envisioned as a true sanctuary — where compassionate, personalized care meets real, lasting change.

My path into mental health counseling was shaped by years of working in educational settings, where I saw firsthand how unaddressed emotional pain can hold people back from reaching their potential. I knew I wanted to do more than just identify the problem; I wanted to walk alongside people as they healed. That calling has only deepened with time, and it remains at the heart of everything I do today.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and teens, and I believe strongly that no two people need the same approach. That is why I draw from a range of evidence-based methods — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Solution Focused Therapy — tailoring each session to what will be most effective for you. Faith-based counseling is something I offer for clients who want to integrate their spiritual life into the therapeutic process. At the same time, I deeply respect that spirituality looks different for everyone, and I never impose any particular framework. My goal is always to honor your values and your story.
