About Will
For nearly two decades, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families through some of life's most defining — and often most difficult — moments. My path into counseling was not a straight line. It was shaped by years of working in ministry and community settings, where I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that addiction, trauma, and unresolved pain can have on a person and everyone around them. Those experiences ignited a calling in me that has only grown stronger with time.
Addiction recovery is at the core of my work. I understand that substance abuse and addictive behaviors are rarely about the substance itself — they are about the pain, the loss, the disconnection, and the unmet needs underneath. My approach is rooted in meeting you where you are, without judgment, and helping you build a path toward recovery that is sustainable and meaningful. Whether you are taking your very first step or rebuilding after a setback, I believe in your capacity to change, and I will be there to support you through it.
Faith is an important part of my life, and for clients who share that value, I integrate faith-informed perspectives into our work together. I find that for many people, reconnecting with their spiritual foundation provides a powerful source of strength, purpose, and hope during the recovery process. At the same time, I want to be clear that faith-based counseling is always offered as an option, never a requirement. I respect wherever you are on your spiritual journey, and my primary commitment is always to your well-being.
Beyond addiction, I also work with clients navigating trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and seasons of personal transition. I draw from evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral approaches, and solution-focused techniques, blending them with a deeply relational, person-centered style. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools for change — when you feel truly seen and supported, healing becomes possible.
If you are struggling and wondering whether things can get better, I want you to know that they can. Recovery is not about perfection; it is about progress, honesty, and the courage to keep showing up. I would be honored to be part of your journey.
